A new side added to adidas staple for entry level running: the trusty Duramo reimagined with high pattern efficiency to push sustainability on a big scale - at over 5million pairs/year.
RESPONSE TR / Y3 COLAB
During this time I was the Lead-Designer for the rebuild of adidas Trail Running.
Towards the end of this project we decided to run a colab with Y3 on this model… the shoe became a success both in the performance world, winning the british Trail Running award as well as in style distribution, with the Y3 drop, continued by KITH models and KOLOR colorways.

RIOT BOOT
this performance Trail Shoe was build as a more runnable, civil version of our original BADBOY, the adidas GSG9 special unit’s boot.
A key innovation is the mesh inlay in the Outsole, which means the rubber can get thinner, lighter and at the same time much stronger against push through.
Inspiration came through our Colab with the Continental Bike Tyre unit around their Lugstructures and Gatorskin sidewall protection.
KANADIA TR7
redefining this classic Model from the ground up - lightest Kanadia ever at 277g, using Kevlar Quarter-Panels and seam sealed material splits.
This Shoe was a used by swiss alpinist and adidas-Outdoor-Athlete Andreas Steindl on his “5peaks in 1day” run, demonstrating the performance capabilities of this humble shoe and preempting the Terrex Agravic Speed that was later build for these fast and extreme trail-runs.
